This beginner course is designed just for complete beginners — whether you’ve never danced before or feel like you have “two left feet.” In this course, we’ll break things down step-by-step to help you build your foundation in groove, rhythm, and coordination. You’ll learn how to move with confidence, understand musical timing, and explore simple isolation exercises that make even tricky moves feel natural. By the end of these three sessions, you’ll have the tools and confidence to kick-start your dance journey — and be ready to explore any street style with ease. The fundamentals you’ll learn here are shared across all funk and street dance styles. Tina’s Dance Studios (TDS) Registration Terms & Conditions By registering for any class, rehearsal, performance, competition, camp, workshop, private lesson, event, or activity offered by Tina’s Dance Studios (“TDS”), the participant, or parent/legal guardian of a minor participant, agrees to the following: 1. All tuition and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless approved by TDS. Missed classes or activities are not eligible for refunds or credits. 2. Participants are expected to arrive on time and behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow participants. TDS reserves the right to remove any participant for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior. 3. Participation in dance and physical activities involves inherent risks of injury. By enrolling, the participant, or parent/legal guardian of a minor participant, assumes all risks and releases TDS, its owners, instructors, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation, except where prohibited by law. 4. TDS reserves the right to modify schedules, instructors, classes, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and studio policies as needed. 5. TDS may photograph, record, or film participants during studio activities and may use such media for promotional, educational, marketing, and social media purposes, including the studio website, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Xiaohongshu (RED), printed materials, and advertisements, without additional notice or compensation. 6. TDS will use media only for studio-related purposes and will not sell participant images to unrelated third parties. 7. Enrollment in any TDS program constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. By completing registration, the participant, or parent/legal guardian of a minor participant, confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
